On Tuesday 27th of February, nine of our students competed in the Cork Schools Orienteering Championships which took place in Tramore Valley Park, Cork. We are delighted to announce that our team of 8 first year boys placed third overall in the team event. An additional note of congratulations to Cian O’Riordan who received a medal for placing second overall for his individual time; a huge achievement. All of our students demonstrated excellent orienteering skills along with a strong determination to succeed. The students involved were Cian O’Riordan, Adam O’Neill, Ronan Browne, Chidi Olugbue, Ben Allen, Mark Walsh, Caolán Dennigan, Oisín Lynch and Aoife Ahern. Well done guys!
