Caring for Carrigtwohill Schools’ Pilot Presentation

9th March 2019Winnie Daly

🌟🌟Caring for Carrigtwohill Schools’ Pilot Presentation🌟🌟
3rd year Student Council Members made history on Tuesday, March 5th when they visited the Community Centre to help evaluate and suggest ways of improving Caring for Carrigtwohill’s Schools presentation. It was the first time that representatives from both secondary school’s student councils in the village have met and worked together. Eight students from CCC and eight from St. Al’s participated in the Caring for Carrigtwohill presentation which had been devised for the village’s Secondary Schools. Students provided valuable oral and written feedback which will help change and improve the presentation before it is rolled out in each of the Secondary Schools. This help is hugely appreciated by Caring for Carrigtwohill.
This important work highlights the voice and crucial role our student council play in the life of our College and indeed, our community. They will doubtless be many opportunities to continue making valuable contributions to many aspects of College and community life in the near future.
