Carrigtwohill Community College wishes to publicly apologise for the state of confusion and fear it caused Carrigtwohill village in the week leading up to the Mid-Term break. Carrigtwohill false ballistic missile alert was put into effect as reported sightings of rockets flying over the college sent the village into a state of chaos.
It is understood that said missiles were “innocently” launched as part of a first year STEAM unit on rocket design.
Despite this, many people are still concerned about the schools developing rocket programme. Let’s hope for all our sakes that they use this technology for good! #cuttingedgetechnology #innovativestudents
