Carrigtwohill Community College participated in yet another successful ‘Trick or Treat for Temple Street’ party just before midterm break. Students and Teachers dressed up to support the great cause and donated money to the charity. Students from the various houses (Aqua, Ignis, Ventus and Terra) took part in the Pumpkin Carving Competition where they gained merits for participation. Second year’s Alan Whelan came in 1st place and Lorenzo McSweeney and Abby O’Donovan came in second and third respectively. Students engaged in a number of events such as a ‘Mummy Making Contest’ and a Table Quiz at the end of the day and thoroughly enjoyed the ‘spooktacular’ celebration.
