2nd Year Business Students will be in the Market Green Shopping Centre, Midleton this weekend Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December 2019 with their enterprise stall. Realising the old saying “money doesn’t grow on trees” students will have an opportunity to experience business in real life. They will continue the hard work of their predecessors presenting two products for sale this weekend. These are:
1. A Present for Santa – the concept of this product is that Santa is always giving. What about giving back to Santa?!
• This comprises of a beautifully wrapped box with:
🦌 Straw [for the Reindeers]
🦌 Magic Reindeer Dust [made by the students in school]
🥕 Carrots
🍪 A cookie treat for Santa [made by the students in school]
📝 A label on the cover for the children to write a note to Santa
🎅 Cost per Present: €5
2. Christmas Cards for Marymount Hospice
✉️ Students organised a Design a Christmas Card competition for students and the top 10 entries were chosen
✉️ These are presented in packs of 10, the proceeds of which will go to Marymount Hospice. A special word of thanks to Andrea Kennedy of ShippingSolutions Ltd. for very kindly sponsoring the print of these cards.
✉️ Cost: €5 per pack of 10 cards
This event and student participation in the whole process will be recognised on their Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement. Their participation, enthusiasm, effort and work ethic on this task is to be commended.
